Its amazing when you find out who is the creator of a product that you have been spending money on.

I have spent a great amount of money on the OBEY clothing brand for a numerous amount of years not knowing who is the artist behind it. 

Till today I found out a little more about him... Shepard Fairey. 

I must say it's a bit embarrassing to say that I learn more about his personal life now when I have been a fan of his products for years.

Most of the work that I have seen on the behalf of Fairey uses a sense of vintage propaganda and advertising.

He uses appealing colors like the bright scarlet red that Communist used to grab attention. 

As well as a nice calm "yellowish" eggshell white with bold black outlines. 

His work reminds me of details that you would see on a Russian doll.

My obituary

I am you, and you are I. 

Universally we are all connected.
Image and time are just illusions that have blinded us of what is important.
Love is key.
We have created a lock, and to unlock this potential you must see the other side.
I have seen it.
Within the eyes of you, whom was meant to read this.
But you are I.
Emotion is who we are.
Dedication is what makes us.

We never break until we die.
But that's just to see another life.
 

"What would I like to learn from this course"

I would like to know more about the history of arts. So that I could apply it within my field as an artist.
